Snow Day!
Well, the dumping of snow we got was enough to call a snow day, which is unusual here in Clear Lake, WI. Most of the time, every school around us will have CLOSED next to their names on the news, but Ethan's will say TWO HOUR DELAY. You should have seen the look on his face this morning when I told him school was canceled. He nearly choked on his mouthwash. Oh yeah...He was that excited. After about three hours, he started bouncing around, asking to go out and play in it. I relented, and let him out. As much as I would have loved to follow him outdoors and snap a few pictures of him rolling around in the fresh white powder, I had to stay indoors with Claire and Grayson. Grayson has decided it's time to stay awake all day now that he's hit one month of age. Claire...Well, if I leave the room to use the bathroom, there is hell to pay when I get back. By hell I mean books off the shelves, movies strewn about, crayons thrown in random directions across the kitchen floor. Craziness I tell you...CRAZINESS!! I'm sure I can catch a few pictures of Ethan this weekend though. I'm hoping to get Claire in it too, but she needs some boots and some snowpants before that happens. He winter coat is working out nicely though. We bought it on clearance at Target last year after the season was over. It was only $6 marked down from $18. Sweet! It's a little big, but I'm sure she'll be almost grown out of it by the time the season is over. We're going to pick up a winter coat for Grayson this year when they hit clearance. Right now he's got a Cozy Cover for his carseat, so we bundle him with blankets inside that. I'm actually jealous of it. I wish I could fit in it.

My favorite picture of the day..Even though Grayson is screaming is little head off. I just finished changing his diaper, and turned around to close up the wipes and move the diapers, and Claire laid down next to him, and was putting her arm around him and patting him on the back. It was the cutest thing. She's such a good sister.

Being typically Australian, i'm not so much a fan of the snow. I lived in NJ for a year and i just couldnt love the snow - sun all the way for me!
What i can love ? That photo.... too cute!
THE PHOTO IS TOO MUCH - I LOVE IT
when my son cries - he's 7, my 14 mth old goes over and lays her head on his shoulder and pats him on the back
he cries way more than her - weird, huh?
Yay for snow days! That picture is adorable!!
