We're getting our first real big snow...And it's a REAL BIG SNOW!! We're expecting 8-10 inches by tomorrow afternoon, with even more expected after that. So, I guess all that hand and face pressed up against the windows waiting for snow from Ethan paid off, in a very major way. When he got home from school today, he was begging me to run out and get his disc out of the shed so he could take it for a spin. We have a hill right in the back of our house that is perfectly placed for him to slide down into our yard. It had just really started to come down then, and there were only a couple of inches. When I looked out a second ago, I couldn't see the grass anymore and the wind has really picked up and is whipping snow everywhere. After reading about the blizzard like conditions and the fact that you should only drive right now if there is an emergency, I'm wanting to strangle David because he left home today without his cell phone. It's sitting on the counter. I keep staring at it thinking, "What if he has to get a hotel tonight? How's he supposed to let me know? Long distance calls from hotels are expensive. I hope he's safe. Why didn't he take his phone?!" He spent a total of 4 nights in hotels last year on nights like this. He better be safe. He better be.
In Christmas related news, we're almost done shopping! YAY! We need a few more things for our niece, and I really need to get out there and pick up gifts for both my grandmothers, my mother and David. I also have a secret Santa gifts to buy, but we're doing homemade stuff, and I just need to pick up the things I need to put them together, and hurry up and get my check cashed and into the bank so I can order two things on Etsy. Any ideas on what to buy a Shaq loving grandma for Christmas? She's already got everything under the sun Shaq...I'm thinking a real big coffee mug. She also loves coffee. A coffee mug, and some good coffee. What's good coffee though? I'm not a coffee drinker. I'm good with my teas and my hot chocolate.

Hey, we got that blizzard too! I'm loving it(mainly because I don't have to go to work!). Don't you hate it when husbands forget the important things....like cell phones.
