Today is my birthday, and it's been wonderful.
I woke up surrounded by my babies. Grayson kept saying, "Birthday mommy." Claire said, "Happy birthday cake, mommy" and Ethan, well he just wanted me to open the cards he made me.
David can't cook and on my birthday, I really don't like to, so David made it so I didn't have to cook all day by ordering in or going out to pick things up. We had breakfast at the kitchen table talking and laughing. They gave me presents.
All of which I love. I recently began reading The Hunger Games after borrowing from the Kindle library. I wasn't sure that I wanted to read it, but it caught my interest right away, and I've been reading it like crazy. The Walking Dead is one of my favorite TV shows, and I wanted to know more, so David bought me the compendium of a large amount of the comic books. I read almost half of it today. So good. The other two are my favorite video game. A survival horror game called Silent Hill. It's a fun game that I can hang out and scare myself silly with after the kids are in bed.
After a quiet day of hanging out with the kids and David and catching up on some shows that we normally watch together but have backlogged, we had dinner and some cake, which David had to add his own personal touch to.
Yeah, that does say 43, even though today, I am 29. And yes, they did spell you're wrong. Oh, Target. However, it was super yummy. It's marble cake, and I'm not a big fan of marble, but there isn't much chocolate in it, so could handle it.
And now, I'm realxing. Blogging about my wonderful birthday and getting ready to curl up and read some more of The Hunger Games.
And I can't wait to see what year 29 is going to bring my way!
