It was family movie night in the Townsend household. We ate dinner and settled in to watch a movie..Or, rather, Ethan and David settled in to watch a movie. Ethan has been on a superhero kick recently, and I just didn't feel up to watching it. Claire, on the other hand, was very much into the movie time treat of choice...Popcorn! I sat on the floor near the couch while she perched herself in between David and Ethan, and dutifully set myself to digging through the popcorn bowl and pulling soft pieces that had no pieces of the kernals stuck to them to give her. After about 5 minutes of popcorn, she decided she'd had more than her fair share (all of 5 pieces) and set herself to force feeding David popcorn.
Now if only she could say, "Eat, Daddy, Eat!!" Instead of just Uh-Oh and Thank You, it would have made the moment that much more silly..lol..She was quite proud of herself in her popcorn conquest of feeding daddy. She giggled with each handful she took from the bowl, as made evident here.
This was taken just before she shoved what was left in the bowl into daddy's mouth. Notice the popcorn monster's suttle giggle. Watch out! She's feisty! Once the popcorn was given to daddy, it was time for diaper changes, hugs and kisses and bedtime! Now both kids are sleeping peacefully and recharging for another day. Will the popcorn monster strike again?

I do that with the popcorn for Rosslyn. She loves it! She always tries shoving food in our mouths too. I wish she said more words too.. she can say mama, daddy, cheese (because I take so many pictures), hi and bye.
