The World Just Lost Someone Special

Yesterday, I got terrible news. Someone who was going to be a part of my family, and whom, even after my mother's relationship ended, I considered to be a large part of my family, passed away. It was sudden. No one knows what caused it. The autopsy was performed today. He went to bed, and when his wife woke in the morning, he was gone. I couldn't even imagine finding my husband that way. I'm hoping she's getting love and support, and lots of it.

Andrew was a beautiful person, and a fabulous artist. He was really breaking out in his art. He was being discovered. It's not fair that this happened to him. It's not fair that his wife only got him for a year. It's not fair he was taken from us.

I have so many fond memories of him. So many. I am so happy that I was lucky enough to meet and know him. I am so happy that he was a part of my family. I'm wishing I could be in Phoenix to be with the rest of his family. His sister and I are especially close, and it hurts me that I can't help her through this. My mom is really upset of the whole thing. Understandable. She was a big part of his life for many, many years.

I'm not really sure what else to say. I've cried. Now, I'm numb. The world lost someone special, and so did I.
