Well, for the past two glorious days, I've gotten just that. Grayson has taken to sleeping through the night!! YES!! I usually stay awake until he wakes for his night feeding at about 11:30PM or 12AM. Then I go to sleep, where I pass out and am awoken between the hours of 4 and 5 for another feeding. I go back to sleep, and am awoken by an alarm reminding me that, no, it is no longer summer. I need to get up and make sure Ethan is ready for school and he isn't trying to sneak out the door sweater free with grungy hair and dirty teeth.
So, on Friday, I'm waiting for Grayson's mama to ring out, and I realize that, "Hey, it's almost 1am, and there's been no cry." I quietly sneak in to look over him and he is fast asleep. In fact, he's flipped over to his tummy, stuck his tush up in the air and is happily sucking on his little fist and snoring. I drag myself to bed, where I promptly fall asleep and am awoke at 6:45AM by his mama. On Saturday, I put him to bed and lie down myself at 10PM. I lie awake for some time waiting for his cry, but it never comes, and I fall asleep, and am awoken at 7:30AM by the cry of mama and giggles. I go in to find him happily playing with his feet. Is this the beginning of overnight sleep for me again? Do I no longer have to stumble around rubbing sleep out of my eyes? I am very excited about this possibility. VERY excited. Just in case you didn't catch that, that was VERY excited.
Now, I'm off to sleep.
Also, now that I've written this post, I bet he'll wake up. Only one way to find out. GOOD NIGHT!

Goodnight to you Chantal! Babies are just the weirdest little things - out of the blue Grayson starts sleeping through ( good work little guy! ) and just as i make my mind up to go to sleep school, Flynn has slept through 5 nights out of 7, and only needed a quick pat and a " sssh " to get back to sleep one of the other nights.
I cant figure these bubbas out but as long as we're sleeping - who cares?
Sleep sleep glorious sleep!!
That is definitely something to be excited about. My husband has kept me up for the past three nights from being in pain with a broken tooth he has. I feel like a zombie today. I'm seriously about to pull that thing myself just to get some rest. (okay, actually I made an appointment with a dentist today)
Yay!!!!!!!!!! What a glorious milestone!! I remember the feeling. :) Sorry I've been abset for MONTHS.... will try to check on you more frequently. :)
