Wow..Been awhile..Major Updates Abound!

Claire turned one on April 14th. We went to the park and made a cake to celebrate. It was great fun for everyone. She giggled her little giggle and smiled to show her little teeth. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday.

She went on the slide with her big brother's and daddy's help.

She spent some time giggling on the swing.

She watched rocks sink in the lake as daddy dropped them in.After a long and happy day, she slept peacefully and soundly.

On April 18th, we had Claire's first birthday party. Friends and family came over to help us celebrate. I ordered a princess cake from Cake Creators, and it turned out just the way I hoped it would. David thought it looked weird, but whatever. I thought it was great. She received tons of wonderful gifts. Three have been deemed favorites thus far. The Leap Frog table, the Busy Ball Popper and the Princess ride on toy.

In baby news, I went to the doctor and I am now 14 weeks and some odd days pregnant. I got to see my tiny one and will be getting the big ultrasound in about 6 weeks. David has decided that he'd like to be surprised this time around. I don't want to be. We'll see what happens I guess.
