Flashback Friday: 1986 Was A Year For Chains

Well, I remembered that my grandmother sent me some photo albums not too long ago. I dug through them, and came across this gem. The year? 1986. The month? June. That makes me 3. The leg with the 86 on it belongs to my brother, who at this time was 9 months old. Why am I wearing chains? Well, I'll tell ya.

My grandfather had taken them off of something or other and brought them inside. Me, being my observant 3 year old self, demanded to play with them. My grandfather, never one to deny me, wrapped them around me. My grandma said I wore them until it was time for me to take a bath. Apparently they were the perfect jewelry to match that awesome red outfit and rockin' white sandals. Don't forget that mop of hair. Oh yeah..My style was SLAMMIN' at 3. Thanks mom.

Now, I'm off to nurse a baby who has woken up demanding food over the baby monitor!
